California assembly member Nancy Skinner answered that call with a proposal to restrict ammunition sales in the state.

“2,800 people in California were killed last year by gunfire,” Skinner said. “It is easier to buy bullets than cough medicine or alcohol. It should not be that easy. We need to have much more scrutiny when it comes to the purchase of guns.”

Monday she unveiled Assembly Bill 48. It would require bullet buyers to show identification. It would also require ammunition dealers to be licensed and report all sales to the department of justice.

The police state tightens its grip as it goes after a long sought after prize of making it harderfor people to attainguns or outright banning them alltogether.  That this is happening in California is no suprise to me because ofthe state its economy is in.  When the SHTF, California will be one of the first places that erupt. -Mort

The Endgame has begun and where better than Mexifornia and New York? The cesspool they live in has been a sore on this nation for decades and now they think banning ammunition is the answer. Tell all your gang members from south America to register theirs first you complete idiots.

  • What part of “Shall not be infringed” do they not understand!!!??? OUR GOD GIVEN RIGHTS!!!

Hey Nancy, How many deaths are caused by criminal gang deaths where the weapon used was stolen and used in a commission of a crime? Honest law abiding gun-owners do not commit gun violence. What, are we going after reckless or speeding drivers that cause death in accidents, are we now going to go after ALL drivers because of it? *Critical thinking people*

Besides there are more deaths through prescription overdoes and alcohol related vehicle accidents, so what, ban alcohol and vehicles? Brains people, you’ve got one so let’s use it…

  • First step to gun control – your guns wont be worth a damn if you don’t have any bullets..think about it..the TSA and HLS are purchasing millions if not a billion bullets then the stopping of the manufacturing of ammo will come they will have all and you wont have a pot to piss in if you don’t stock up now, its already taken effect.go to your local gun shop and see if the shelves are not empty its not because of the public run on items but of the mass ordering of the Govt. is keeping the manufactures behind….gun control is here.
