Congratulations! You Have Graduated!
http://theemergenceprojectannette.wordpress.com
There is an old Zen story of the monk who asked his Roshis “What happens after I become enlightened?” The Zen master replies, “Before enlightenment; chop wood, carry water. After enlightenment; chop wood, carry water.” Congratulations you have graduated! But it may seem like things are harder than they were before graduation. But like any major graduation, we must understand that this is a new phase in our lives. After all the parties and congratulatory speeches have been made, the real work begins. It may take some time to assimilate the knowledge we have gain during our time in school. The hard knocks of figuring out what works and what doesn’t still apply. We may be done with one set of lessons but new ones are being offered. Just like in the real world, we are being asked to grow up and take responsibility for our creations. And the challenge is to create a world we want to live in through the lens of the heart energy in this new multidimensional reality. Also, I want to remind everyone that the shift is a window of time, the Maya say it can take place anywhere between now and 2017.
Personally, I believe it started in earnest around 2007 and will continue through to at least 2017. So it’s important to keep ever vigilant and our vibration as high as possible, always. This new earth is a school house like the old earth. These initial new school lessons entail letting go of our ego desires and expectations, the false ego does not do well in unity consciousness. Dec. 21 2012 didn’t show up for us the way we expected? Time to drop our expectations; this is in part, the cause of our suffering and the first lesson in the new school. If we were to go into an Ashram or Zendo the first thing they would do is to try and break our ego. Well… here we are in the Ashram of life… Welcome. The feminine energies of the new cycle accentuates the big I and not the little I of the ego. To paraphrase a great and courageous statesman, JFK “Ask not what this new world can do for you but instead ask, what you can do for this new world?” How will you contribute to the upliftment?
How can you help to relieve the suffering of the people around you and lessen the suffering of the masses? Look for ways you can be helpful and supportive. This is a time to be thankful for the opportunity to make things better and brighter, to bring things back into balance and harmony in all our relationships. Where are we still out of balance? This should be glaringly obvious by now. Let us take the time and do the work of bringing these things back into balance. Enlightenment is a process that never stops. It’s a constant refining of the lens of perception. Fortunately for us we are in an ascending cycle and the world is becoming a better place. The shift yes- is a marker towards our ultimate oneness and self-realization and for this we should be humbly grateful. We are the enlightened ones, the ones we have been waiting for, in relative terms- instead of acting like disappointed children who didn’t get what they wanted for Christmas, let us open our hearts to the unconditional love and unity that is here for us now and set about doing the real work at hand, of lifting the rest of humanity up with compassion, generosity and practically building an infrastructure for a sustainable, lasting harmony and peace.
