Early in the day on Tuesday, I made a quick
trip over to an excellent firearms vendor and hunting supply store. It is one
of the best in southern Connecticut. What I found out there is about the same
as what I learned last week: business is brisk, customers are buying both
pistols and long rifles, and some kinds of ammunition are now [ again ] SOLD
OUT.
SURPRISINGLY, the store managers have not put on extra staff and so the sales
consultants were hopping.
Naturally, given the mumblings of Madame Fickleness Feinstein and His
Imperial Mendacity Joe ‘blank stare’ Biden, at least half of the rifles they
had in stock were red-tagged as having been sold. In the Nutmeg State, the
waiting period for a purchase is two weeks. A citizen with a State concealed
carry permit can buy and walk the same day, however, as the CCP demonstrates
that one has already been “vetted” by the State Police.
So, yeah, Barry Barry Quite Contrary is definitely fanning the fires of
firearms lust and sales are good, and even quite brisk !!
