Burning Through Unconsciousness
Last summer, I was at a rodeo, expecting a good time, when the people we were meeting showed up with an unexpected guest. I had never met this lady before, and after introductions, we all sat down to enjoy the show. A brief moment passed and she started making unbelievably rude comments to me, over the heads of two other people. I tried ignoring her, probably playing the victim, I wondered why no one else seemed to notice. So I remained polite, which was probably the wrong thing to do, because it seemed to egg her on…Anyway I reached the point where I just got up and moved, wondering why my companions would want to have someone so negative around them. I was glad to see the evening end.
Time moved on and I moved on through my spiritual journey. I realize now that she was rather blatantly teaching me to set boundaries or speak up. But you know what they say about hindsight….lol.
Last night, six months later, at a birthday party, guess who showed up? Wow, I had hoped this wouldn't happen, but there she was coming my way like a huge dark cloud…”Please..sit at the end of the table,” I thought. But, nope, she came and actually sat right across from me…I couldn't believe it. I felt like moving to another table immediately. The energy was intense. I felt like I was on fire, a huge red cloud! She looked at me, realized who I was, sat down, and scooted aside a little. I moved over as well, to create what distance I could between us.
Now, though, unlike last summer, I am a conscious being and I knew just what to do. I began conscious breathing. In love and out …whatever that ego stuff I was feeling was, until I felt clearing occur. After that I expanded my heart energies. What a huge change that was. The 'lady' immediately moved about five feet away. The rest of the evening went really well, as there were many other beautiful souls there with whom I occupied myself. By the time the evening ended, we actually waved good bye to each other. No words had ever been exchanged, but the energy change was miraculous!
Who knows, maybe some day we will even be friends…LOVE WINS!
