Martial Law Declared In New England

As of 5:00 PM EST Friday, authorities in multiple Northeastern US states have implemented martial law, due to “the weather.”
Facing up to one year in jail and a $1000 fine for merely driving their own cars on public streets and highways, citizens in various areas within the New England region have been hit with executive orders, threatening residents with criminal penalties if they leave their homes and attempt to drive during the current snowstorm.
Using the color of law to impose demands on the public that can only be seen as a massive overreach of power, individuals in Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts thus far have been issued bans on driving in those areas.
I do believe the ban is stillin affect so that emergency workers nd plows can do their jobs more efficiently. While this isn’t what martial law actually looks like, it does have elements of martial law in it. -Mort
It’s called ,”State of emergency ” in this particular case it is a needed step in order to clean up the mess and move on . The penalties for obstruction have existed for a long time . To try to exploit this current event to push an agenda is just as bad as Main stream media pushing corporate and political agenda . That is a parking ban you speak of. There has never been a travel ban otherwise known as “martial law” except for the blizzard of 78 when there was twice as much snow and 1975 Chevy Impala rear wheel drive cars were the major form of transportation.
This muppet and his Schwartz are power hungry and caused one kid in Dorchester to die of carbon monoxide poisoning because his car went unmoved and was buried in snow.
This kind of executive action action is unmitigated. The people of Massachusetts and Boston grew up in the snow……….driving, walking, playing hockey.

This is the first time that Massachusetts Residents were threatened with jail for going to check on mom. But that is Massachusetts residents fault for electing an alien to govern them. Usually one born and bred in the state they reside become goernor.
