We are all now immersed in a grand new beginning to a new way of life, in a new paradigm. So many are filled with fear as their old familiar ways begin to crumble away leaving them naked and vulnerable and unsure of what lies ahead. It is the unknown we must learn to embrace and work with rather than fear it and fight it. If we can just learn to make peace with the excitement unknowingness can bring to our lives, rather than fear, we can joyfully discover what new way of being we can create for ourselves. It is a time to allow ourselves to feel great excitement in the searching and discovering of a new world, it is time to allow ourselves the freedom to let go and be strong enough to know that what comes next will be just fine if not better than what was before. It requires that deep trusting that life will always give you what you need when you need it. It is using creativity to create your new attitude about life, how will you be, how will you love, how will you think. It’s the thrill of having your slate wiped clean and being handed a new box of colored chalk and being told you can create whatever your heart desires. It surely is nothing to fear, but instead, it is a chance of a life time to be born twice and live two totally different lives. Nobody before us has been given this opportunity to re-do everything according to their own plan. Enjoy this moment, by all means do not fear it!
A new world is erupting right before our eyes amidst the smoldering rubble of the old one quickly dying away. We are seeing the very things we dreamed about now have a true possibility of being, such as a more loving world, a more fair world, a more respectful world. We no longer have to long for it with a heavy heart, if we desire it we can actualize it into being. It will require our own changing within, becoming more loving, more fair and more respectful and in turn inspiring others to make these changes as well, for it will take humanity as a whole to get this new world up and running.
Fear is such a small, limited way of existing, and it creates just that, an ‘existence’ in life rather than living life fully and with gusto. It creates an attitude of survival in life rather than attitude of excitement and appreciation for all that is but more importantly, all that can be. It takes away from us possibilities and replaces them with regrets of not having lived our life fully and having become all that we can be. It robs us and it doesn’t give back. All it takes is a flip of attitudes, a new way of thinking and the courage to embrace this new way of being. It is the not settling for what we may have, however small or large, but instead igniting the inspiration and ambition to be more and to excel at being the best that we can be. Now is a time for feeling gratitude for the opportunity we are being offered to begin life over and to create our dreams with no limitations. How can we possibly fear this chance to get it right!
