JUST IN: Demi Lovato to Return as X-Factor Judge for Season 3
Demi Lovato will be returning as a judge on the X-Factor for the shows third season. From last season judges panel Brittany Spears and L.A. Reid will not be returning. Lovato will be joining the show’s creator and resident ass-hole Simon Cowell as returning judges.
Lovato’s official statement read: “I am so excited to return as a judge and mentor on ‘The X Factor’,” “Last season was an unbelievable experience and I really enjoyed developing personal relationships with the contestants and the panel. I look forward to taking my previous experience and applying it to make this season even better!”
The 20-year-old former Disney star signed on to be the fourth judge of the talent program last year in May, joining Cowell, Reid and fellow pop star Britney Spears. Lovato and Spears replaced original judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger.
No replacements for Spears and Reid have been announced though there is much speculation that it could be anyone from Joe Jonas to Miley Cyrus to Avril Lavigne.
