On Aug. 22nd, 2012, Henry Folsom, an employee at the Missouri State Highway Patrol, took the computers and cameras of Jeffrey Weinhaus, a Missouri-based journalist. A couple of weeks later, at a pre-arranged meeting, Folsom shot Weinhaus multiple times, claiming that he was in fear of his safety.
