In a story that isn’t all that uncommon in our down economy, a Muskogee, Oklahoma business owner tired of constant break-ins camped out inside his car repair shop to catch an intruder this past Thursday.
In a heart raising 911 call you can hear Dale Ford holding the robber at gun point after having shot him in the arm. “Did I hit ya?” he asked the intruder. “He said I hit him in his arm. It’s just a .22, you ought to send an ambulance.”
After having over $1000 of goods taken from him last week, Ford said he had no choice but to handle the situation on his own. The suspect, Joseph Carpenter, was taken to a local hospital and has yet to be charged as the case is under investigation by the district attorneys office.
