States United To Prevent Gun Violence wants to “update our antiquated gun laws.” While attempting to illustrate the lethal potentiality between 18^th century muskets and our modern “assault rifles,” they seem to have overlooked a critical fact. The very black powder used to make a musket go BOOM can also make a bomb go BOOM. Seems fairly relevant in light of the recent Boston Marathon bombings.
