The Henry Survival Rifle made currently is a lot cooler and much more reliable. Of course, most people say feed it high-velocity ammo or it’ll run into cycling issues, but as far as lightweight repeating rifles go, it’s untouchable.
The 10/22 Takedown is nicer than both in most respects, but it is the heaviest. If you’re looking for something in-between, you want a Marlin Papoose.
