Singaporean artist Keng Lye creates unusual three-dimensional images of animals, using acrylic paint and epoxy resin. Lye’s work cross the border between painting and sculpture in that each resin layer is painted on to give this amazing 3d effect – similar to (but with far more fidelity than) the layered glass paintings of Xia Xiao Wan.
