CT Dad Says Son’s School Teaches Americans Don’t Have Right To Bear Arms

The worksheet

Steven Boibeaux of Bristol, Connecticut claims that his son’s school, Northeast Middle School, is teaching children that Americans do not have a constitutional right to bear arms. He said that his son was given a social studies worksheet that is anti-Second Amendment.

Boibeaux was interviewed by Fox News’ Todd Starnes and said that he was “appalled” and believes that the school is trying to “indoctrinate our kids.” Well, yeah! They are state run schools. That is what they do. They indoctrinate statist philosophy, because they will not indoctrinate Christian principles in education.

The worksheet that he put forth as evidence is published by Instructional Fair and is titled The Second Amendment Today.

“The courts have consistently determined that the Second Amendment does not ensure each individual the right to bear arms,” it purportedly reads. “The courts have never found a law regulating the private ownership of weapons unconstitutional.”

Starnes reports:

The worksheet, published by Instructional Fair, goes on to say that the Second Amendment is not incorporated against the states.

“This means that the rights of this amendment are not extended to the individual citizens of the states,” the worksheet reads. “So a person has no right to complain about a Second Amendment violation by state laws.”

According to the document, the Second Amendment “only provides the right of a state to keep an armed National Guard.”

Boibeaux also said that the teacher referred to the U.S. Constitution as a “living document” and that the worksheet cited notes, “the interpretation changes to meet the needs of the times.”

Sound socialistic enough?

He told Starnes, “I’m more than a little upset about this. It’s not up to the teacher to determine what the Constitution means. I just don’t appreciate this as a parent. I expect teachers to teach my kids and tell the truth – not what they think their point of view is.”

While I appreciate his frustration and being upset, when are you going to pull your son out of the state run public education system? Parents in this school, when are you going to have enough and start removing your child from the premises of these indoctrination centers and teach your children rightly?

According to the report, Ellen Solek, the superintendent of the school district, said they have now decided to pull the assignment from the classroom.

“It is no longer an assignment in that particular school,” she said, noting that it was an “administration decision in the best interest of the district.”

Well isn’t that convenient? How long do you think it will be until this is front and center in that school or surrounding schools? In fact, note her words here, “It is no longer an assignment in that particular school.”

Parents of Connecticut students. You better wake up! You better demand that this garbage be completely scrapped from any and allschools, and as I said before remove you kids from these pitiful excuses for education facilities.

Meanwhile in Texas, CSCOPE is pushing its pro-Islamanti-Christian,anti-American, revisionist history on students there. Parents, when will you have enough? Hopefully, it is now. It’s time to break the government’s stranglehold on your children in the education system.
