This annual treat is so popular amongst the ice cream makers fans that they crashed the site today trying to find the nearest Ben & Jerry’s.

Participating locations are giving away one free cone per customer. Apparently all flavors are available which hasn’t always been the case. So try a Cherry Garcia, Dulce Delish, or Mango Mango if you are in the mood for a Latin flavored ice cream.
The founders, Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield started the ‘Free Cone Day’ as a thank you to their fans on their first anniversary of being in business in 1979.
