The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has issued a statement regarding extreme weather, how the federal government will respond and man-made climate change.

The EPA stated: “Adaptation will involve anticipating and planning for changes in climate and incorporating considerations of climate change into many of the agency’s programs, policies, rules and operations.”

The US Global Change Research Program released a report in January claiming that carbon dioxide levels have dramatically increased since the Industrial Revolution and is correlated to the activities of humanity.

Vice President Joe Biden recently remarked that according to recent data, CO2 levels emitted from the US are dropping and are at their lowest levels since 1994; show a level of 10.5% from 2005.

The Obama administration is committed to combating global warming as a focus of the 2nd term. With the advent of renewable, efficient and increased use of natural gas, the US has been able to move toward a significant reduction of CO2 emissions.

The US government’s goal is to continue this tread to cut greenhouse gases to 17% by 2020.

The National Research Council (NRC) has released a propaganda study on Hydraulic fracturing (a.k.a. fracking).

The NRC is comprised of four branches: the National Academy of Sciences , the National Academy of Engineering, the Institute of Medicine and the National Research Council. Collectively, they produce intelligences that influence policy development, coerce public opinion, and control the directional advances of science, medicine, and engineering.

The NRC admits that fracking causes earthquakes, yet claims that it is still a “low risk”. They blame carbon capture for “inducing seismic events”, although there is insufficient scientific data to make such a claim.

The explanation the NRC provides is the injection of wastewater underground that causes earthquakes that can be felt by people above ground. The NRC says that “the total balance of fluid introduced or removed underground” determines whether or not earthquakes occur.

The US government has not recorded any “significant loss of life” due to fracking while they acknowledge that “some effects have been felt by local residents and have raised concern about additional seismic activity and its consequences” where the US government is conducting “energy development”.

Yet they are unwilling to associate the fracking to earthquakes because of “insufficient information” and lack of scientific congruency of “predictive models at specific energy sites”.

In an attempt to shift public focus from the practice of fracking and alter social opinion, the authors of the report praise fracking as being the “best practices” designed to maintain balance and support the industry’s use of this dangerous way of extracting gas from the Earth.

In Europe, Benny Peiser of the Global Warming Policy Foundation (GWF), an alarmist think-tank that purveys the lie of man-made climate change, describes fracking as a “clean energy source”.

In another study published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, the current method of carbon capture by storing the gas underground is directly causational to earthquakes.

The IPCC is responsible for the use of fracking as a pollution control to move away from coal-based electrical power.

The IPCC would like to see CCS preformed on a global scale, asserting the practice would eliminate 3.5 billion tons of CO2 annually. However the study admonishes: “Before embarking on projects to inject enormous volumes of CO2 at numerous sites around the world, it is important to note that over time periods of just a few decades, modern seismic networks have shown that earthquakes occur nearly everywhere in continental interiors.”

Mark Zobacka and Steven Gorelick, professors in the departments of Geophysics and Environmental Earth System Science at Stanford University, surmise that earthquakes “will be triggered by injection of large volumes of CO2” and calls “large-scale carbon capture and storage (CCS) a risky and likely unsuccessful strategy for reducing greenhouse gas emissions.”

The World Resources Institute has published a study affirming that combined forces with state, federal and the EPA can limit CO2 emissions from power plants with the recommendation that Congressional legislation (such as the Clean Air Act ) regulate and ensure that this come to pass.

The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) released the 2012 Strategic Sustainability Performance Plan explains that the “USDA will continue to support activities across government that helps its agencies adapt to and become positioned to meet the risks, challenges, and opportunities presented by climate change and variability.”

The USDA has been empowered by an executive order signed in 2009 to provide data on how to reduce Co2, cut waste and pollution by 2020. By outlining for federal agencies programs, assets and investments that directly impact climate change, the USDA is obligates to “identify how climate change is likely to affect its ability to achieve USDA mission, operations, and policy and program objectives.”

The report goes on to state: “By integrating climate change adaptation strategies into USDA’s programs and operations, USDA better ensures that taxpayer resources are invested wisely and that its services and operations remain effective in current and future climate conditions.”

Man-made climate change propaganda is working. Americans have gone from being “convinced that the climate is changing” to concerned about global warming “a great deal” to absolutely convinces that climate change is solely caused by human activity.
