Holder: Threat of Home Grown Terrorists is More Widespread

US Attorney General Eric Holder worries at night “about whether or not we have done all that we can to ensure that every threat has been adequately examined, that we put up our defenses in appropriate ways. So, yeah, I still go to bed worried at night.”
Holder claims that with al-Qaeda more wide-spread, the threat of home-grown terrorism is more palatable than before. Holder explained: “Core al Qaeda doesn’t have the capacity that it once did, but it’s metastasized in a number of ways. We now worry about the nodes of al Qaeda—al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, al Qaeda now in Africa, al Qaeda in Iraq. The threat is more widespread in terms of where those people are, where those significant people are. That’s how it’s different now.”
Another concern of Holder’s is that Americans are becoming “complacent” about terroristic activity in the US; regardless of the successful sting operations foiled by the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI).
Holder points out: “I worry a little that the American people, from the general population, has become a little complacent that we don’t understand or realize that the threats are still real, that the danger is out there, is still tangible, that we still have to be as vigilant as we need to be.”
Fear-mongering about potential Boogeymen lurking within the US must be as strong as the concern for “a bunch of people in caves in some part of the world.”
Holder goes on to say: “We have to be concerned about the homeland to the same extent that we are worried about the threat coming from overseas.”
The FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force have indicated to owners of gun shops and gun ranges the US government’s new definitions of domestic terrorist that coincide with their demonization of US veterans and propaganda claims that domestic terrorists are more of a threat than their manufactured insurgent groups like al-Qaeda and the Free Syrian Army.
According to a paper entitled “Challengers from the Sidelines: Understanding America’s Violent Far-Right” published by Combating Terrorism Center, a think-tank at the West Point US Military Academy that the “far-right”, “anti-federalist” and groups that support “civil activism, individual freedoms and self-government” are dangerous as “racist/white supremacy movement, an anti-federalist movement and a fundamentalist movement.”
The paper asserts that Islamic extremists are coercing populations in the Middle East, Africa and Asia to assist them in gaining power with the purpose of over-throwing the US government and its allies.
The document states that these “espouse strong convictions regarding the federal government, believing it to be corrupt and tyrannical, with a natural tendency to intrude on individuals’ civil and constitutional rights. Finally, they support civil activism, individual freedoms, and self-government. Extremists in the anti-federalist movement direct most their violence against the federal government and its proxies in law enforcement.”
It goes on to correlate modern movements supporting a return to a Constitutional Republic as being violent conservatives living in the past. The report reads: “While liberal worldviews are future- or progressive -oriented, conservative perspectives are more past-oriented, and in general, are interested in preserving the status quo.” the report says. “The far right represents a more extreme version of conservatism, as its political vision is usually justified by the aspiration to restore or preserve values and practices that are part of the idealized historical heritage of the nation or ethnic community.”
General Stanley A. McChrystal spoke at the Brookings Institue, a globalist think-tank, to discuss the new “networked enemy” that has become the modern terrorist faction.
McCrystal asserted that the idea of terrorist groups needs to be rethought as the days of killing the head of an organization is gone. He explained that the Joint Special Operations Command is working with secret agencies and nations to conduct surveillance, track, hunt and kill targeted persons; yet this practice is outdated and ineffectual in this modern day of multiple factions coming together to conduct terroristic activities without a definitive central leader.
The FBI have recently manufactured more terrorist plots to justify comments like Holder’s in the effort to keep the American public in a state of vigilant stress and fear.
Andrea Bowden is the latest “terrorist” to be arrested by the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) for threatening to commit a mass shooting at Gateway Community College in New Haven, Connecticut.
Bowden’s FBI handler claims that she made several text messages and have verbal conversations with them discussing her bomb plot and intent to commit mass murder.
When the FBI searched Bowden’s home no guns or IEDs were found. The New Haven police department says that Bowden was wanted on outstanding warrants for harassment and endangerment.
Another created pasty for the FBI was Matthew Aaron Llaneza who was framed by the FBI in a manufactured terror plot involving and IED. This entrapment scheme had Llaneza, who had a history of mental illness, to build an IED to detonate at a San Jose branch of Bank of America (BoA). Officials claim Llaneza wanted to start a civil war by aligning anti-government militias to the storyline.
In 2009, the Office of Intelligence and Analysis published a report entitled “Rightwing Extremism”, wherein domestic extremists, particularly white supremacists, were proposed to be the newest and most dangerous threat to the US since al-Qaeda.
While admitting that they had no definitive proof that “domestic rightwing terrorists are currently planning acts of violence, [however] rightwing extremists may be gaining new recruits by playing on their fears about several emergent issues. The economic downturn and the election of the first African American president present unique drivers for rightwing radicalization and recruitment.”
The DHS wanted to instill the idea that veterans were being recruited to become “right-wing extremists” upon returned from Iraq and Afghanistan. Janet Napolitano intimated that military veterans could become instruments of domestic terror. When Napolitano’s comments were met with public distain, the DHS amended their assertion that extremist groups were highly-marked; but rather it was a lone wolf type that would carry out the biggest act of domestic terrorism.
As the FBI reported in 2007 white supremacist groups are “relatively disorganized” and the “individuals acting alone” will be the most obvious threat as a more resourceful implementation of premeditated terrorist attacks.
