(Ted Shoebat is the son of Walid Shoebat, a former Muslim Brotherhood terrorist. Both Ted and Walid have appeared on Freedom Friday with Carl Gallups as guests.)
With tolerance comes weakness before the presence of evil, and before the violence and havoc of Islam and Leftism. Lets look at an example of this. When the Boston explosions erupted, shortly after the New York Post reported that “authorities have identified a suspect, a Saudi national”.
In a short time, the Washington Post retorted that the “New York Post better have good sources”. One news agency attacked another for accurately reporting that a Saudi was identified as a suspect, and there is only one way to describe this: fear of appearing intolerant, even after a terrorist attack.
Just hours after the explosions erupted, Chris Matthews was not making suggestions that Islamists were involved, but was already making the alluding suggestion that the “far right” was responsible:
But going after the Kennedy Library, not something at Bunker Hill, not something from the Freedom Trail or anything that kind of historic, but a modern political figure of the Democratic Party. Does that tell you something?
We are too afraid to jump to conclusions only when it is obvious that Islam is involved. When a terrorist attack occurs, the Left is praying that a tea partier is the one responsible. With sentiments like these being frequently subscribed to, I can assure you that more terrorist attacks will be on their way. Islamic fundamentalists will do what they do: destruction. The question is why do we allow them inside the country? Placing equality over vigilance will be the death of modern civilization.
Our society will never get rid of terrorist attacks, unless it realizes how our country will look like under the Sharia code of Islamic governing. But if we cannot imagine how this will be, let us then look to the Middle East to see live examples of Islam’s fruition.
The ultimate results of Islam is gradually coming to pass in Syria. Christian and Muslim civilians are being killed senselessly by savage jihadists, who murder for their delusional pretense of “persecution”, and their utopian envisioning of “freedom.” This freedom they speak of is not the liberty of the American spirit–influenced by Judeo-Christian ethics–but anarchy, fueled by the fires of the Koran.
The real persecution is being done upon the Christians, not the so-called “rebels.” As of now, Christian are compelled to choose between two options: leave–if you can–or die.
According to Maronite archbishop of Damascus, Samir Nassar, Christians and Muslims are being murdered every day by bombs, car bombs, and snipers. Lack of hospitals has also been a cause of this high mortality rate, since Syria has become so hellish that 223 hospitals have been abandoned so far.
The Syrian church as become, in the words of Nassar, a “wall of tears”, to which all are going everyday “for protection and help in finding a visa to leave.” The archbishop gives us a heartbreaking fact:
To advise them to stay could lead to death like a lamb dumb before the butcher. Our martyrology simply gets longer … Helping them leave means emptying the Biblical Land of its last Christians.
Nassar exemplifies that strong Christian fortitude of ancient times when he declares that the Christians must rely on the “heart of God”, and must remember the words of Christ: “Do not be afraid … I am with you … “.
In this Easter, at St. Kyrillos Church, numbers were quite low, and parishioners pondered as to where the people would be next Easter. One Christian named Ilias said that “Either everything will be O.K. in one year, or there will be no Christians here”.
One Nancy stated that the rebels “want to split the Christians from the other sects.” That means that the jihsdists want to single out the Christians, and target them specifically for a major massacre.
Ilias made a very harrowing statement that “The Christians in Syria are being crucified in Syria for the church”. The Christians in Syria are being persecuted just as Christ was persecuted, and on a similar note, a Christian named Mrs. Shaheen proclaimed that “Jesus was oppressed once, but we are being oppressed every day”.
A man named Fouad Anouf said that when jihadists settled in his apartment building, there were are first polite, and even allowed him to cross the street safely. But regardless of this niceness, their violence left the building into shreds, and him penniless.
