Prompted By UFO Sighting, Man Attacks Father With Sword

A 37 year old man from Mallorca, Spain attacked his father with a 50 centimeter katana sword after claiming to have ‘sensed the presence” of a flying saucer.

The local emergency services received a nervous phone call from a woman who claimed that her son had gone mad, attacked her husband and then disappeared.  The attacker claimed to have felt and been in the presence of a UFO, this prompting him to attack his father.

Police arrived at the victim’s home in Sa Cabeneta and were shocked when they discovered the victim, who was badly cut on the hands, face and body. The house was in dissiray, showing obvious signs of a struggle.

What a weird story, the majority of people will assume that this man is just mentally ill; many times people have lashed out in violent attacks and then afterwards blamed some sort of supernatural power after the fact. Whatever the reasons for this attack truly are, its a tragedy whenever something like this happens, especially between two family members!
