Gun Fact vs. Gun Fiction: What Gun Control Supporters Don’t Know (VIDEO)

In a bid to counter the influence of the National Rifle Association and pro-Second Amendment groups, supporters of gun control held a rally in Washington D.C. on April 25th. Dubbed “Stop the NRA Rally and March,” the gathering was a bust, with a stunningly low turnout. But another disappointing aspect of the get-together was the sheer ignorance on display regarding basic trends related to mass shootings, the effectiveness of assault-weapons bans and overall firearms usage in violent crime. As Guns.com reported earlier this week, the Department of Justice has reported a 39% decline in gun homicides from 1993 to 2011.
