Senator Joe Manchin, outspoken gun advocate, is ready to discuss implementing an assault weapons ban after the shooting in Connecticut. Manchin said last week: “We’ve never been in these waters before – we’ve had horrific crimes throughout our country, but never have we seen so many of our babies put in harm’s way and their life taken from them and the grief. That’s changed me, and it’s changed most Americans I would think.”
Manchin, speaking of the attack on the 2nd Amendment spearheaded by Senator Dianne Feinstein which is a bill that will restrict access to not only semi-automatic weapons for Americans, but also clips that hold more than 10 bullets.
Senator Charles Schumer believes that the gun issue is “at a tipping point . . . where we might get something done.”
House Representative Louie Gohmert stood up for the 2nd Amendment by stating: “Well, for the reason George Washington said: a free people should be an armed people. It ensures against the tyranny of the government, if they know that the biggest army is the American people. Once you start drawing the line, where do you stop? … Gun laws don’t work.”
Feinstein said on mainstream media: “I’m going to introduce in the Senate, and the same bill will be introduced in the House — a bill to ban assault weapons.”
After the Batman shooting, Feinstein demanded that the Clinton ban on assault weapons be reinstated. She asserted: “Who needs these military-style assault weapons? Who needs an ammunition feeding device capable of holding 100 rounds? These weapons are not for hunting deer — they’re for hunting people.”
The propaganda machine known as Hollywood is adding to the temperament of the social psychology by making images of guns controversial, implying that even the idea of a gun cannot be tolerated because of the Connecticut shooting.
The Discovery Channel has canncelled “American Guns” after perfectly timed attacks came from Facebook posts calling for the cancellation.
One post said: “I know you all have to make money but would Discovery Channel PLEASE consider ceasing to broadcast the show in the U.K.? Sadly your program makes buying/owning guns seem fun, glamorous, even normal.”
Another stated: “Dear Discovery Channel: it’s not appropriate showing the program American Guns now!” Another weighed in: “With Discovery shows like ‘Sons of Guns’, ‘American Guns’, ‘Ted Nugent’s Gun Country’ etc it’s not surprising how guns r seen as acceptable.”
Jamie Foxx joined the crusade by saying that “we cannot turn our back and say that violence in films or anything that we do doesn’t have a sort of influence. It does.”
All of a sudden, the decades of violence portrayed by Hollywood must be stopped because of this tragedy. And in keeping with the capitalization of this horrific situation, the entertainment community is hanging their heads in shame to sell this new concept: remove the 2nd Amendment for the safety of all Americans.
Obama, invoking emotion to convince Americans that he cares, has demanded that this incident not be tolerated because nations are judged by how they care for their children. He said emphatically that America must change their perspective on the rights afforded us by the 2nd Amendment.
This statement was followed by a promise to use his powers as president to prevent this from happening again.
In Los Angeles, a man posted on Facebook that he would attack multiple elementary schools in his area to attack them in another shooting incident. Arrested on suspicion, the man is being held by LAPD authorities.
LAPD Chief Charlie Beck stated that his police department was committed to engaging in pre-crime to protect citizens from potential shooters.
Mainstream media have denounced the massive crowds that came out to attend a Connecticut gun show this week. Those who support the 2nd Amendment know that gun restriction will not stop violence; but rather debilitate American’s ability to protect themselves.
It has been part of the script to convince Americans to give up their Constitutional right to firearms for decades. In 1995, Eric Holder revealed that there was a directed conspiracy to use any means necessary to get US citizens to give up their guns – even if by using propaganda.
Another angle being taken by mainstream propaganda is to demonize Adam Lanza’s mother, Nancy for being a “survivalist”.
Claims that Nancy was stockpiling food, water, provisions and guns is beginning to surface as the philosophy of preppers are becoming a tip-off to a possible mental disorder. Because Nancy was preparing for the breakdown of American society and the installation of martial law, she is being called “obsessed” with gun which led to Adam’s ability to commit this act.
Nancy was teaching her children how to shoot at gun ranges. This is being demonstrated in the mainstream media as part of the problem that resulted in the shooting at Sandy Hook.
Marsha Lanza, Nancy’s sister-in-law, said that “she prepared for the worst. Last time we visited her in person, we talked about prepping – are you ready for what could happen down the line, when the economy collapses?”
Mental health is becoming part of the national debate. As psychologists call for more oversight on the general public for the sake of crisis management with a strong focus on prevention of situations like the shooting that could have been caused by domestic violence, drug addiction, and the survivalist mentality.
