Pitbulls Drag Amputee From Wheelchair And Kill Him
An amputee was killed by dogs in So. Carolina. On May 14, the Clarion Ledger reported that 80-year-old Carlton Freeman of Harleyville was pulled from his wheelchair by dogs that bit him several times earlier this month. Freeman died of his injuries on Sunday according to Coroner Chris Nesbit..
“An incident report said Freeman told authorities that he was pulled from his wheelchair during the attack in the community about 50 miles northwest of Charleston He said dogs were biting him and pulling on his clothes,” the Clarion Ledger reported.
The amputee killed by dogs had both his legs removed after a knee injury several years ago. His condition made it very difficult for him to ward to dogs and his injuries were far worse as a result. The coroner was actually surprised that Freeman survived as many days as he did. MOREHERE
