Syrian Rebel Eats Heart of Enemy Soldier **GRAPHIC**(VIDEO)

A graphic video was posted Sunday depicting a Syrian rebel taking a bite out of a human heart.

Abu Sakkar, leader of the rebel group Farouq Brigade, is shown cutting into the torso of the dead soldier and saying to comrades, “I swear to God we will eat your hearts and your livers, you soldiers of Bashar the dog.” Fellow guerillas cheer “Allah akbar!” off screen.

The ongoing Syrian civil war began in 2011 – a product of the Arab Spring, between loyalist forces of President Bashar al-Assad and various mujahedeen insurgents. The conflict has been a particularly bloody one, especially towards civilians, with an upwards of 80,000 individuals killed thus far.
