A CME might be heading for Earth. It was propelled into space by a double-blast of M-class solar flares (M3 and M1) on August 17th around 1830 UT.
The Solar and heliospheric Observatory (SOHO) caught the CME emerging from sunspot AR1818. You can see it here. If it does hit the Earth’s magnetic field it will be a glancing blow rather than a direct hit.
The CME is expected to hit on 19 or 20th August and a more precise time will be issued later.
Todays sunspot number is 96. AR1818 still has the energy for strong flares but is moving across the disc and will not be in line with Earth for much longer.

I watched a short documentary on space, it showed how our sun and its accompanying planets move through space, these solar flares that they are fear-mongering with, they are natural to the movement of the sun, loads of people do not know this fact, remember we are travelling through space in a 3D universe. To shorten the story, the flares slip to the sides of the sun, never back to the other planets. Not intentional, but its the way it moves through space. The ones who own us would like you to believe otherwise though. As they will use this as an excuse to EMP us all and then blame it on the sun.
