We are truly entering Orwell’s 1984! All of the surveillance they put on the phones, and things, have made me avoid them. Now they have a kill switch to cut you off whenever they feel the need to. Sounds like Iran, doesn’t it? I cannot believe this is the New Amerika. Lord, help us.
As wireless devices such as cellular telephones, pagers, personal media devices and smartphones become ubiquitous, more and more people are carrying these devices in various social and professional settings. The result is that these wireless devices can often annoy, frustrate, and even threaten people in sensitive venues.
Covert police or government operations may require complete “blackout” conditions.
