I found this picture this morning and it really hit me, how true this statement is. Telling the truth, when told about the forces that be, will get your imprisoned or dead. Right or wrong, tell on this government and you will disappear.
Bradley Manning, Ed Snowden. They told the truth and one is in prison being tortured and the other one is in Russia, for now, until this regime gets him back in America, then he will be right beside Bradley, rotting in some military prison somewhere.
The current state of our government is that of tyranny. We have unwittingly been herded into a dictatorship, that has no mercy and knows no justice.
Another person who told the truth against the government is Gregory Hicks. He was demoted for telling the truth about what happened to those men at Benghazi.
There was a time in this country when whistleblowers were protected and frankly, admired. This is where our society has sunk to. Protecting the criminals and prosecuting the heroes.
