The architects responsible for designing the future Rio de Janeiro Olympic venues have released images of the projected spaces.
AECOM, the Los Angeles based architecture firm who also worked on the 2012 London Olympics, has been commissioned to design seven sporting venues as well as the International Broadcasting Center.
The 2016 Olympic Park in Rio de Janeiro’s Barra de Tijuca district will be constructed on the former location of a Formula 1 track.
300 acres of prime Rio real estate will be used to build the 2016 Olympic Park along the Atlantic Ocean.
