Did you ever wish you were one of the mega-rich? You know, those narcissistic vampire-squid sociopaths who are eviscerating western economies and cannibalizing our planet. Do you dream of becoming one of the billionaires, that infamous 1% that now owns everything, with their sprawling 40,000 sq. ft. houses hidden behind great walls of gated communities.
These men and women, who now control our world and appear oblivious to their toxic legacy, have in the past been praised and exalted by our degenerate culture. The virtues of greed were once extolled until most found themselves virtually impoverished. So it wouldn’t be unusual to envy the mega-rich or unconsciously desire, however obliquely, to be born into their world.
The ancient Sanskrit text, the Bhagavad Gita makes it evident that the same sort of self-serving greed has threatened humanity for thousands of years. In the Bhagavad Gita, Book XVI, Krishna reveals the fate of these avaricious bloodlines to his friend the warrior Arjuna:
“Puffed up by their egos, arrogant, drunk with wealth and pride, they offer up…[charity]…out of sheer vanity. Embracing egotism, overbearing strength, pride, desire, and anger… Those hateful, cruel, vile, and polluted men I hurl ceaselessly into demonic wombs… birth after birth…”
