Batkid became Gotham’s most courageous superhero. Dressed in a black costume, less than half the size of Batman, Miles Scott took to San Francisco; alongside his favorite hero to save the city.
Greg Suhr, San Francisco’s Police Chief, reached out to Batkid for help against the city’s crime. Batkid was excited to answer the call. He rescued the Giants’ mascot who had been captured by the Penguin, the Riddler who was robbing a bank and a woman who was stuck on the cable car tracks in Nob Hill.
Scott, who is 5-years-old, lives in Northern California in a city called Tulelake. He thought he was headed to San Francisco to get a Batman costume so that he could mirror his favorite superhero. He had no idea that the Make-A-Wish Foundation was ready to fulfill his wish.
Scott, who is happy to report his cancer is now in remission, has battled leukemia nearly all of his young life. He was diagnosed with the disease when … click HERE to continue reading
