Subject: LETTER TO THE EDITOR – REPLY – Ray Holm letter to Editor – Please open
As one of the principals at Citizens Journal, and now its Editor in-Chief, I feel as well-intentioned as Mr. Holm’s recent comments in The Star (October 31
st edition) may have been, they were in fact mistaken. Citizens Journal was not founded by a local Tea Party but by American Freedom Partnership, a non-partisan organization. Its mission from inception was to be a balanced forum where local news can be presented without bias and where left, right and center viewpoints can be equally aired. It was begun with the sincere desire to find common ground where we can openly dialogue about important issues those of us who live in Ventura County. To find that place, that issue, that event, where we can all agree and go forward together. It was never meant to be, nor has it been, a front for any particular political point of view. Please review the content for yourself, the editorials where both liberal and conservative writers have opined. We invite people to not only to read our online newspaper, but to participate in its creation. Our doors are open at
http://citizensjournal.us/ to people of all political stripes. After all, it’s your backyard, Ventura County.
