Google And Facebook Sued Over Privacy Issues

Facebook is facing a class action lawsuit for allegedly violating its members’ right to privacy. The social network is being sued by members who claim that the company intercepts private messages, without consent, to mine the data for its own profit. MOREHERE

Google was driven into a French court Wednesday by former Formula One racing head Max Mosley over images from a sex party.

Mosley on Wednesday requested that the French court force Google to remove from its search results and image data store all photos and videos related to a role-playing sex romp he participated in back in 2008, according to the Wall Street Journal. At that time, News Corp.’s now-defunct News of the World published video footage of Mosley with several women engaging in sexual acts. MOREHERE

An Arkansas lawyer and political blogger has sued Facebook for allegedly using data from private messages to target ads. 

Matt Campbell, author of the left-leaning muckraking site the Blue Hog Report, filed a class-action complaint on Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.  MOREHERE
