American civil rights activist Sherwood Ross says US President Barack Obama has failed to shut down the Guantanamo Bay prison because “he is not sincere.”
“The man is not to be trusted after all he came up into power through the Central Intelligence Agency, which is an organization that is not to be trusted,” Ross told Press TV on Thursday.
Every prisoner at the detention center “has had nothing to do with terrorism,” he added.
“The prison was established at Guantanamo Bay to hide it from the American legal court system and they did that very successfully,” the activist said.
