Authoritie are investigating a possible terorists’ dry run, after envelopes with a dry power were reportedly sent to several hotels.
According to a Bergen County official, Those packages actually contained corn starch. Sources say that, the packages were found at in an envelope at an Econo Lodge in Carlstadt and and similar mailings arrived at the Homestead Inn in East Rutherford and a Renaissance Inn in Rutherford.
The packages were found just ahead of the Super Bowl, which law enforcement officials view as a major terrorist target.
Former NYC mayor Rudolph Guiliani was also target. John Huvane, the chief executive officer of Giuliani Security & Safety, told themedia, “We received an envelope in the mail. When it was being sorted, the mail person took note of powder, a white substance, and started the procedures that we have put in place.”
