Conspiracy Theory is based on the assumption that, if there is smoke, there is a fire somewhere; which is why it is gaining some credibility in many universities as a subject in its own right.
“Whre’s smoke there’s fire” is also a statement of classical logic and why conspirators, especially governments, go to such lenghts to ‘cover up’ any plans. ideas or theories and even inventions that threaten the status quo, which they quite illogically believe they own… Tom Dennen
