Am I the only one who thinks Facebook buying WhatsApp is bad news for everyone?
Since the massive social media network expansion, 100s of websites and messaging apps have been created. This may have all been very helpful for us on the surface, but a side effect of this expansion is the natural transfer of “live” information onto countless data server rooms around the world, effectively creating our own “Matrix” as we interact in real time with everyone via these networks.
Loosing your right to keep your information separated from one organization to another is like every person you meet knowing everything about your life without your choosing.
Now with Whatsapp selling their soul to the Facebook Devil, lets just take a look at the possibilities available to him.
Facebook knows what you look like. Facebook knows where you live. Facebook knows your phone number and Facebook knows who your friends are. Facebook know whom you talk to on a daily basis and Facebook knows what you say to them. Facebook knows every picture in your photo album, even the ones you haven’t posted, and Facebook knows where you took them, and whom you were with when you did.
Facebook knows all your friends phone numbers, even the ones not on Facebook, and Facebook knows what they look like and what they like. Facebook knows what YOU like, and what you don’t. Facebook knows who likes you, and knows who don’t. Facebook knows things about you that even you wont and Facebook can use this information, to do what it wants.
