Using the same tortured “logic”, wouldn’t it be the case that in extreme emergency situations, US citizens could kill government agents and elected officials? Not ADVOCATING it, just posing the hypothetical question. Under what SHTF intrusive situations would the same guidelines hold for the citizens, to keep order and preserve liberties, to use these same guidelines to get rid of pesky government types?
The govt is already annulling the 7th Amdt right to a jury trial.
