[Madison, Wisc...] Sen. Leah Vukmir (R-Wauwatosa) spoke with the MacIver Institute on Thursday about her new bill that would create a state board to implement new academic standards for Wisconsin. The new standards would replace the Common Core standards approved by the Department of Public Instruction without public input.
