~When the Answers Just Don't Come~

Dear Friends,
Today, I want to share my experience with decision-making when the answers just don’t come!
37 years ago… I was a newly divorced single mom w 4 children, ages 6 to 13 in suburban CT.. I wanted/ felt I needed to move, to shift gears, to change communities, but couldn’t figure out where to go. No matter how often I asked for guidance, pendulummed, muscle tested, asked sought out psychic input, I just couldn’t get a clear answer. I felt pulled north, but knew not where…… Finally, I made the decision to move north to Northhampton, MA. then several years later west to Gt Barrington, MA.and then finally 5 years after that a, life took a very dramatic turn and I ended up in Paris, France. I never saw that coming. I never planned it, nor could I have accepted it 15 years earlier when I was seeking answers. And yet, it was the perfect answer at that time. There was no way, that I was ready for that answer when I first asked – ‘Where is the best place for me to move?”. All the pieces of life had not yet lined up in order to lead to that answer at that time.
I can only make sense of the process in hindsight. Now, I am not speaking out for retrospective vision, however, I do want to reassure you that when the time is right, you will KNOW. You WILL be given the answers you sincerely seek. Sometimes, it is necessary to sit back and wait…to be patient, to allow the not-knowing to exist, to learn to tolerate the discomfort of that ‘not-knowing’….
It is now 2014 and I find myself in that ‘not-knowing’ place once again. I currently live half the year in a very small pied a’ terre in the West Village of the intense, bustling, booming, Manhattan’s metropolis near 3 of my 4 now grown children, and half the year in a spacious house in the suburban/rural Australian town of Mullumbimby in New South Wales., far from family and roots, but happily engaged with a community of loving friends. The story of how this came about is too long for this post, (see chapter 3 in my book, Multi-Dimensional YOU), but suffice it to say, I love both situations and I know now as I knew many years ago that a move is on the horizon. I do not know where or when.
And, when I ask, I get nothing but confused answers and resistance to whatever is suggested. So….I must sit in the not -knowing, trusting that when I need to know, I will know. When the physical pavers are set down on my appropriate energetic path, at that time…whenever it is, I will know and will take the appropriate steps.
Answers can only be offered when universal timing and personal timing coincide.
Answers will only resonate as truth and be felt in one’s heart and soul, when all the players, all the locations, all the geology, sociology, astronomy, climate changes, human population shifts, economics, politics, etc. come together to form a coherent whole….then and only then, when the unseen and seen factors all line up….Until then, hang on….do the best you can do….don’t give up on your guidance, for it is there…lingering just at the edge of your awareness….ready to support and guide you, even if the answers it offers are temporary…until the more long-term answers reveal themselves.
