Yellowstone: Warning or Vapor?
I have been watching the news on Yellowstone for about 3 years now.
There are many unique attributes to the activity and nature of the SuperVolcanoe that spark interest.
It is my opinion that closely following the activity of this volcanoe is important.
Here are some facts about the supervolcanoe:
It is known to erupt in a cyclic like manner, and we are currently in the window date of another eruption.
The crust is known to rise before supervolcanoes blow in a specific way and Yellowstone has been observing these fluxes.
The United States Government would keep this information secret if there was indication of abnormal activity and there have been reports of that. I personally know that USGS falsifies information at the whim of money or government.
The last link is to an article I read today on Helium 4 being found. This is an interesting finding and I would need to do more research on the credentials behind the study. If true, then it would be Another piece of evidence to the already staggering pile suggesting that the increase of Caldera, the uptick in seismic swarms (since 2010), the hiding of information by the gov, and the finding of 4He is a good indicator that Yellowstone may be coming unstable.
