After Marius the Giraffe, Copenhagen Zoo Kills Entire Lion Family (Including 2 Cubs)

Copenhagen Zoo, which caused an international outcry after it recently killed a healthy giraffe, has now killed a pair of adult lions and their two cubs.
Citing the “pride’s natural structure and behaviour,” Copenhagen Zoo said on Tuesday that two 14year old lions had been ‘euthanised’ as part of a ‘generational shift’.
It added that the cubs were also put down because they were not old enough to fend for themselves and “would have been killed by the new male lion.”
