Orange County deputies are investigating this home where a homeowner shot and killed a suspected intruder on Elmhurst Circle near Eatonville.

Usaf-Ali Castle and his friends couldn't help but smile Saturday morning after surviving a chaotic night at his home just outside Eatonville.

An armed man jumped through one of his windows while he was recording music around 3 a.m.

Castle's friend, affectionately nicknamed “big homie Kash,” jumped up from a couch and tackled the intruder, knocking the pistol out of his hand, Castle said.

Castle then picked it up, taking matters into his own hands.

“When they separated, I shot him like four, maybe five times,” Castle said.

The intruder died at the home, deputies with the Orange County Sheriff's Office said.

Detectives later identified the armed man as 20-year-old Clifford Johnson.

Johnson had a short rap sheet that dates back to 2008 when he was 14.
