NC:Homeowner who Killed Invader not Charged

District Attorney Ernie Lee told NewsChannel 12 the shooting that killed Michael Holliday (pictured above) Sunday was justified. There is evidence that Holliday pointed a shotgun at John Moore, the man inside the home, Lee said. Moore, fearing for his life, then shot Holliday with a .22 caliber handgun, killing him. Lee said it was a case of self defense and Moore will not be charged.
