ITV News Bureau in London reported on March 26, 1991 that the U.S. military took control of FM radio transmitters in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. They began broadcasting subliminal signals that basically hypnotized listeners into feeling fear, anxiety and other negative emotions. Two years earlier a man named Oliver M. Lowery applied for a patent on his Silent Subliminal Presentation System. It appears Riyadh was the testing ground for mass deployment of the program, and patent number 5159703 was issued on October 27, 1992.
The abstract for the patent reads:
“A silent communications system in which nonaural carriers, in the very low or very high audio frequency range or in the adjacent ultrasonic frequency spectrum, are amplitude or frequency modulated with the desired intelligence and propagated acoustically or vibrationally, for inducement into the brain, typically through the use of loudspeakers, earphones or piezoelectric transducers. The modulated carriers may be transmitted directly in real time or may be conveniently recorded and stored on mechanical, magnetic or optical media for delayed or repeated transmission to the listener.”
In layman’s terms, this systems allows whoever controls television, radio and any other mass audio transmission apparatus to control your thoughts with subliminal audio that triggers certain human emotions.

This is truly out of the x-files for me. i don’t really follow or cover stories like this usually. A patent apparently exists though and given what the government has experimented within the past andwhat they continue to experiment with it would not surprise me if they had, have,or could have something like this out there as well.
