Uproar At Russia Today
Russia’s invasion of Crimea in Ukraine has had the effect of unmasking the Putin dictatorship before the eyes of the world, and perhaps the institution most breathtakingly exposed has been Putin’s propaganda TV network Russia Today.
In the immediate aftermath of the invasion, something really stunning happened. Not one but two American female on-air journalists employed by Russia Today fought back against the naked act of Russian aggression they were witnessing. One, Liz Wahl, actually resigned during her broadcast in protest, saying she could not continue to work for a state-owned entity, while the other, Abby Martin, declared her open opposition to the Kremlin’s actions during her broadcast.
But what happened next was even more amazing.
Russia Today’s editor in chief Margarita Simonyan published a post on her Live Journal blog in both English and Russian in which she cast aside any pretext of journalistic objectivity and openly declared herself a partisan of the Russian state in the Ukrainian conflict. She stated: “Yesterday I spent quite some time explaining to the New York Times correspondent why I consider Russia’s position to be right. I’m Russian. I support my country and I will fight for the truth for as long as it takes.”
Simonyan’s use of the word “truth” is highly revealing. She uses it in the same sense Putin does. For them, “truth” does not mean accuracy. Instead, it means those statements, correct or incorrect, which help Russia win victory. Only such statements are to be reported by people who call themselves “journalists” in Putin’s Russia. That is how it is possible for Putin to strip all military insignia from the Russian soldiers who invaded Ukraine and then tell the people of Russia that they were “self defense forces” and not Russians at all.
Simonyan told the NYT that Martin’s comments were “not in line with our editorial policy” and admitted: “We have never made a secret of the fact that we reflect Russia’s position.” Martin fired back at Simonyan: “Believe it or not, it’s possible to disagree with Russia. I don’t agree with sending in thousands of troops to a sovereign nation to ‘protect ethnic Russians.’ It’s a bizarre pretext to use military aggression, and it’s flat-out wrong.”
The writer of this piece is a loathesome and duplicitous liar. Anyone who cannot see that what Putin has done so far is infinitely less than America did, to widespread applause, at the time of the “Cuban Missile Crisis”, is without discernment.
Please make no mistake, one of the intentions of this State Department hydra is to install missiles in Ukraine, pointing at Russia.
No evidence is given to support the contention made here that the individuals in unmarked uniforms on the ground in Crimea are Russian troops.
If this proof cannot be provided by the writer, which clearly it cannot or he would have presented it, then no “invasion” of Crimea has occurred. Herein, the proof of his lies.
No comment is made as to the fact that it is not a mere journalist’s place to publicly take sides in a conflict, especially when one of those involved stated at the time that she did not understand the nuances of the situation, not that there are any. RT offered her the chance to go to Ukraine to improve her grasp of the situation; she refused.
Ukraine has been destabilized by the CIA using NGOs. Its present jewish millionnaire banker leadership took power through an undemocratic process. Can you imagine the US allowing this to occur on their own soil?
Behind this process, of course, lies the eternal jew, eg Kerry aka Cohen and Nuland. They are unable to live in peace, they must always be seeking revolution, revolution which increases their profit at the expense, ideally, of thousands or millions of gentile lives.
Standing firm against them is Vladimir Putin, a Christian man who, in an evil age, defends the values which were once associated with the United States, but which have now been entirely subverted by the antichrist jews who direct its domestic and foreign policies.

Those reproaches against USA quoted from Russian press and http://WWW... it would seem satirical if it had not been meant seriously, folks. At least half of these reproaches have been well-known world-wide, for years, or even decades, and have a factual core which can be big.
For example, the true core of the “drug fiends” reproach lies in the fact that at least one half of U.S. Americans, as it has been often reported, takes daily medication, and that one of ten Americans, as it has been reported too, takes mind-altering medication, for example Amitriptyline, Prozac or Ritalin. A causal connection of this drugging to recent Amok incidents in USA has been widely discussed – hence the “fiends”! Illegal drugging in USA, thus, is only a layer of bitter yeast at the bottom of the deep cup of United States´ Polytoxicomania.
Sad to see that both sides in the actual ideological war are right with most of their mutual reproaches. The reproaches of Russia and its President to be bullyingly aggressive etc. are as truea as the reproaches toward USA about mass drug abuse etc etc.

Let us all try to develop some Civilian Courage, some active conscience of our own, NOW. No matter which side we are on.
The base of every fully-developed active conscience, however, must be the Golden Rule – a central point of all religion, known to the Buddah as well as to Our Lord Jesus. Sign the Golden Rule upon your hearts folks of all religions and also non-believers – and even being forced to wear a RFID chip won´t make you fry in Hell! It reads: “Treat others the same way as you would want to be treated yourself by others. This is the (meaning of the Biblical) Law, (and) this is the (meaning of the Biblical) Prophets.” See, Jesus said by this word that all those who follow the Golden Rule, are followers of the Biblical Law – which means that they all belong to Jesus. All of us can have to face situations now – because of the global WAR situation we are in – when we will have to decide whether to risk one´s own advantages… for a person in misery, or for pertaining some higher human value which is in danger of being forgotten, etc. – or to keep one´s personal “life standard”… at the cost of fellow-humans and Earth. If we decide THEN for the Golden Rule, our immortal souls will be saved. This spiritual truth too is testified both by the Buddah and Jesus.
The other thing is that we still do NOT govern Nature but are part of it and have to submit to it. The thing most feared by Man as long as he lives on Earth, Forces of Nature causing destruction and braking out the feats of civilization, may NOW be Man´s Savior as a species.
Some over-regional electromagnetic or even only electronic data transfer disasters, plus some more tornadoes and other weather extremes, and some more evidence that Petrol already HAS run out except for little remnants – this would be enough bitter medicine delivered to us by Nature to diminish our number WITHOUT the mega-bad karma of a mass killing by World War III and to leave the survivors behind with that constructive kind of Repentance which can make an abundance of new life bloom from the ruins of our deviant Oil Age.

What a bias article in many respects. This author clearly neglects the role of the US in starting this conflict but then we dont even have to mention the role of the US in nearly all the conflicts in the middle east and north Africa. Articles like these with no balance should not be published
