When I think about the possibility of something life changing happening in the next 20 or 30 years I sometimes second guess myself and wonder if I am just over reacting.
It’s like the blue car affect, when you buy a blue car all of the sudden you see blue cars everywhere, so am I just worried about this because I choose to read about it all the time?
That thought is quickly crushed by the reminder that this system is ABSOLUTELY unsustainable and anyone who disagrees is not taking a realistic look at the world around them either because they have their own agenda or they are in complete denial.
This reminds me of riding a roller coaster, as you begin climbing the first big hill the anticipation builds because everything is fine as you are slowly climbing up the hill, but you know that is all about to change.
As the roller coaster goes over the hill some people close their eyes and hold their breath, some people embrace it and throw their arms in the air and some of us know what is coming and brace ourselves for the fall.
As the ride goes on there are more ups and downs but you never get as high as you were on that first hill and eventually the ride comes to a stop.
I believe we are approaching the top of that very first hill and we are in for the ride of our lives
