Back in March of 2012, I was arrested for disorderly conduct. One night, I was leaving a local bar and two males approached me and some friends. They asked if I would like to buy some drugs. I told them no, and they then asked if I had stuff to sell to them and I also said no and kept walking to my car. We got in my car and started driving off when all of a sudden there was a loud boom and my back window shattered. The guy shot my window out and then ran off. The bullet missed my friend and I’s heads by inches. Well, we called the cops and met them at my apartment. After about thirty minuets of waiting, they finally showed up. The cop then got in my face and screamed for my ID; at the time, I did not know where it was. He then pushed me against a wall and told me to lose my attitude or he wouldn’t fill out my report. I told him regardless of my attitude he had to fill out my report. After I said that, he grabbed me by my throat. I then grabbed his arms, side stepped him, and kind of pushed him on the ground (oops). I asked what he was trying to do and he said, “Arrest you.” I turned around and let him take me to jail. I ended up paying about $500 in fines, got a whole bunch of probation, and had to do a gang of community service. He also said that I left the scene of the crime in which my response was, “Sorry, next time I’ll add him on Facebook first.”
I was never charged for resisting and I spent a total of ten minutes in jail. I walked in, got booked, fingerprinted, then walked out the door. That was the day I decided that all cops are bad cops; even good cops still protect the bad cops.
