The Constitutional Alliance is providing two documents to educate all people on the details of S744 (Comprehensive Immigration Reform). One document is titled “S744 Provisions and Comments” and the second document is titled “Four Problems with CIR (Comprehensive Immigration Reform).”
These documents are the property of Gerald Jenkins. Gerald is an attorney who worked diligently to provide the documents to the Constitutional Alliance and other parties of interest. The documents are copyrighted thus they may not be reproduced. My own relationship with Gerald Jenkins is I was asked to consult with Gerald on the parts of S744 that relate to biometrics. Although I did provide input for the analysis, the documents were exclusively prepared by Gerald Jenkins.
Regardless of how any individual person feels about comprehensive immigration reform it is very important that everyone understands how the legislation that has already passed the U.S. Senate will impact all people in the United States. Currently the House of Representatives is considering individual components of immigration reform.
Finally, I want to thank Dr. Richard Sobel of the Cyber Privacy Project. Dr. Sobel is responsible for introducing me to Gerald Jenkins. Dr. Sobel is a person who I have a great deal of respect for. Dr. Sobel has done exceptional work examining the relationship between citizens and governments.
