Sources from Kentucky say an inmate has died in prison from starvation. Authorities have fired a prison doctor, along with several staffers.
Another drug sentence gone wrong: the inmate, 57 year old James Kenneth Embry, had just just three years left on a nine-year sentence for drug offenses. Soures say his mental state deteriorated after he stopped taking anti-anxiety medication. He lost as much as 30 percent of his body weight.
