In defiance of of a government order to stand behind a fenced in area at the Bundy Ranch property protesters tore down the sign that read first amendment area and declared the area between Canada and Mexico a fee speech zone.

BLM designated the area at the beginning of the the protest as the only place they were permitted to speak and if they defied the order they would be arrested and taken to jail. As support began to build protesters refused to comply and the sign came down yesterday as a sure signal to the unconstitutional law enforcement BLM they no longer had jurisdiction over the United States citizens gathered there.

On the scene Pete Santilli said that the free speech zone caused a lot of emotions to surface and run high and the BLM made a huge mistake when they designated that area. At first when the protest numbers were small the people here were afraid not to do as ordered but now that fear is ebbing as momentum gathers with each new supporter arrives. We went down and tore that sign down and we now hold that sign in trust as a symbol to the American people that the first amendment will be respected and not violated here.

Yesterday we took a stand and it empowered the people and we nullified their unconstitutional order. We are citizens of The United States of America and we are born with our right to speak freely here it cannot be infringed. By taking down that sign we declared we are no longer wrapped up by the the tie-wraps of tyranny. The sign is now in possession of the people it was once meant to stifle and if the BLM wants that sign back they will have to come and take it. Obviously the first amendment means more to us than it does the government.
