Without an overflowing bucketful of victims, Progressives have no audience or voting base.  Liberals use minorities shamefully- with decades and decades worth of “control” skillfully hidden under the guise of “charity“.  Democrats use different classes to stir up envy, creating groups of people who feel that they are “owed something” just for being alive.  And just as importantly, Democrats pathetically use women with the intent of turning them into victims.

This is what Progressives do.  They use pandering and persuasion to different demographics to convince them that they are victims in need of rescue by government intervention.  They target a group, make them feel like they are getting a raw deal.  It’s a way to divide and conquer and cull off those on the edge of the crowds who make easy and gullible victims.

The latest mantra in the “war on women”- which is always just a desperate ploy using the right hand to deflect what they are doing to women with the left hand in regards to the record unemployment among women created by this administration’s job killing policies- is the “wage gap”.   Uninformed and gullible millennial women are gulping up the lies of this shoddy, manipulative , and deceitful report done by American Association of University Women (AAUW), a radical feminist group.

This report is nothing but a propaganda study in which they’ve “discovered” that women are being “discriminated” against in the workplace by getting paid around 77 cents to the dollar that a man makes.  However, the entire report is misleading and inconclusive, based on zero output controls, and is so skewed that one has to know it is intentionally misleading.  None of the studies conducted, in comparing a male/female wage, were apples to apples comparisons.  Instead, huge generalizations in the workplace were made without taking into account any education, college majors, experience, or life choices.

The AAUW lumped occupations in wildly inappropriate ways.  Under “Other White Collar Jobs” they included male lawyers and judges (high paying, male dominated fields) and compared them to librarians (female, low paying dominated field).  They compared celebrities and athletes (monstrous salaries) to research assistants.  In another category listed as “Other Occupations” they included males in mining jobs (high paying) to female waitresses and food preppers (typically female and low paying) and on and on went their “study.”

They take these conclusions, hand them to Democrats as talking points, and build a false narrative that women that women are being discriminated against and it’s the Republicans fault for allowing it to happen.  Yet, anyone with a lick of common sense and discernment would dismiss that as absurd.  Why would the AAUW do this, instead of comparing the same jobs between genders?  The Washington Examiner says this:

Why would the AAUW put out such shoddy material? Lisa Maatz, director of public policy and government relations at AAUW, answered this question at the AAUW media conference call when the study was released.

Maatz said that part of the reason the AAUW wants to do this work is that it has an extensive get-out-the-vote movement. In this sense, she continued, this report is very well-timed. The AAUW get-out-the-vote program has been targeting millennial women to get to the polls. This particular year, the AAUW has made a huge investment in trying to get millennials to vote.

It seems that the AAUW is twisting the data to get young women to feel that they are victims of discrimination and march out and vote for President Obama, who is promising pay equity.

Furthermore, if the Democrats and Barack Obama want to use this false narrative to convince women that the big, bad Republicans want to keep them down, than they need to start by fixing things in their own home.  Based on these exact calculations, broad generalizations, apples to orange comparisons, annual reports will show as well that the Obama White House pays women $60,000 to the $71,000 they do to males— a full 18% less.  Dick Durbin, who is out beating his chest and leading this war chant in Congress also happens to pay his female staffers $11,000 a year less than his male staffers.  Hey boys, pick up the phone.  Hypocrisy is calling!

And, while we are on the topic of “war on women” it does need to be noted that over half a million more women are now without a job because of Obama and his job killing policies.  There is a 77% food stamp surge and our debt reduction fee per American worker has gone up 55% under Obama.  Women are losing sleep every night wondering how they will put food on the table the next day and gas in the car to get the kids to school.  There, ladies and gents, is your REAL War on Women!
