No Need To Throw It Away!

There is plenty you can make with pulp from the juicer. This video gives you quick and easy recipes for vegetable broth, home made crackers and dip.

I have a recipe to share as well, for veggie patties. It’s especially delightful if you have juiced apples, pears and/or sweet potatoes.

Take the pulp for about 4 large or 6 small patties, and mix with 2 eggs. Add some turmeric, curry, cumin, salt, pepper, lemon juice and chopped onion if you like. Form into patties and fry them in coconut oil. Serve with a cilantro or mango chutney! Vegans can omit the eggs, the consistency will just be different, perhaps better to heat the mixture as a casserole.
